The great stage magician Mervin has died, and his fellow stage magicians are invited to the reading of his will. Upon arrival, however, the Solicitor drops a bomb: it appears Mervin has been murdered, and in order to inherit what he has left behind, the gathered magicians must solve who did it. And it’s one of them!
The Killer In This Room pivots on the increasing difficulty of players to communicate with each other as they try to uncover the background and clues other players are protecting. Players may cooperate or try to trip each other up, but one thing is for certain: no one is ready for the truth.

Required materials to run the game include printed handouts, a deck of tarot cards, hole punches or small stickers, lanyards or another means for players to wear their identifier.
Optional materials include a paper shredder, a perforator, several baskets or boxes.
